We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to schedule and carry out your visit, we don't track you, and we never sell your information.
Who we are
This site is run by JGlacier LLC, operating as Porchlight Tech, a solo, in-home tech-help business serving Dade City, Zephyrhills, surrounding Pasco County, Florida. You can reach us at hello@porchlighttech.com or (352) 534-7033.
What we collect
When you book a visit, we collect your name and phone number, your service address, and any notes you choose to share. Email is optional; if you give one, we use it to send your confirmation. Card payments are handled by Square: your full card number goes directly to Square and is never stored on our systems.
How we use it
- To schedule and carry out your visit.
- To contact you about your appointment by phone, text, or email.
- To send your confirmation and any follow-up notes.
- To keep basic records of the work we did.
Calls and text messages
We use your phone number to confirm and coordinate your appointment by call or text. These are service messages about your booking, not marketing. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or just tell us how you'd prefer to hear from us.
Cookies and tracking
We don't run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts, and we don't set cookies. Nothing on this site follows you to other websites. If that ever changes, we'll update this page first, and we'll never use anything that tracks you across the web.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the providers we need to run the business, such as Square for card payments and our email and hosting providers. We never sell your personal information. Square handles your card details under its own privacy terms at squareup.com/us/en/legal/general/privacy.
How long we keep it
We keep your booking details and visit notes for as long as we need them to provide service and keep reasonable records, then we delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Children
This site and our service are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@porchlighttech.com. If you're a Florida resident, you can make the same requests, and we'll take care of them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date below. If a change materially affects you, we'll tell you directly when we can.
